Charnwood Forest Golf Club forms the venue for a charity fashion show on 16th of February 2005 in aid of Leukaemia Research. The present Ladies Captain at the club, Sue Thurman, chose to support the charity after discovering last year that one of her golfing friends is suffering from the disease.

Sue said "This is a way in which I feel we at the club can help. It's something my friend would enjoy and we hope to raise some money for a worthy cause. I will continue to support the charity throughout my year as Captain."

The Fashions will be provided by Moira's Reflections of Evington Road, Leicester. The event begins at around 12.30pm and the show commences at 1pm, a light two course lunch will be served by Beacon Hill Catering.
